This is the moment I felt so ready for...

The Inspiration Corner is where inspiration and creativity meet

A little about me…

Hey there, I’m Rachel!

So nice of you to stop by. I’m a 27-year-old dream chaser who currently lives in the absolutely amazing city of Duluth, Minnesota. When I am not inspiring you all, I am running my photography business Rachel Lee Photography and capturing people’s wonderful life moments.I enjoy being behind the camera to seal those moments in time forever for my clients.

I live with my biggest supporter, my boyfriend Pete, and our sweet rescue pup, Zoe. We enjoy going on long walks or hikes together! Wanderlust runs in my veins and I was so excited to find out that Pete has the same blood type; TRAVEL! If we could, we would buy a van and drive all around the country together. #vanlife

I enjoy diving into a really good book, watching movies, snuggling Zoe, adventuring, Netflix in general, bonfires, golden hour right before sunset and being with my loved ones. I’m so happy that you are here and I hope you will take away something amazing in this community!

The Inspiration Corner has been brewing and building in my head officially since 2015, but began long ago. When I was young, (back in the day? Can I say that and not feel old?) my mom for Christmas got me this awesome Pirates of the Caribbean journal. (Favorite series!) In that journal I recorded every single quote I could find. I wrote down motivational quotes, happy quotes, sad quotes and inspiring ones. I would bring this journal to school, volleyball games and pretty much everywhere I went. It always made me smile reading this array of quotes I had selected to hand write and color prettily. Then came: the internet! *Cue intense music* That opened me up to even more quotes than I could dream of! I moved from my journal to a word document and then eventually a Pinterest page.

As a photographer, my goal was to capture memories and stop time. Sometimes I would hear, “Ugh I am so fat!” or “Does this shirt look ok?” Even though I could relate to these statements, it made my heart sad. One night after a session I thought to myself, “How can I make people happier and love themselves more?”

The Inspiration Corner was born.

This was the moment I felt so ready for. Yes, photography is still my passion and yes, I love it more than a lot of things. But, I was drawn to helping others. To make a difference in this world. To go above and beyond for people; complete strangers even. So, I took this late night idea and wrote it down on the notepad by my desk. The rest, as they say, is history.

The Inspiration Corner is where creativity and inspiration meet for creatives.
